These Terms & Conditions govern your use of yamja.com, our WhatsApp assistant Claudia, and our customer/dealer/technician/sales/admin portals (together, the "Site"), operated by Yamaja Engines Ltd. ("Yamaja," "we," "us"), 35 Lady Musgrave Road, Kingston 5, Jamaica. By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Yamaja Engines Ltd. is Jamaica's authorised Yamaha Motor distributor since 1975, offering outboard engines, boats, WaveRunners, ATVs, parts, accessories, and service.
Prices, specifications, and availability shown on the Site or quoted by Claudia are provided for guidance and are subject to change without notice. A price is not final until confirmed in writing by a Yamaja sales representative or reflected on an official quote or invoice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time before an order is confirmed.
Some boats shown under "Boats on the Market" are listed by their individual owners, not by Yamaja. Yamaja is not the seller for these listings, makes no warranty as to their condition or the accuracy of their description, and is not a party to any transaction between a buyer and the listing owner. Contact details shown for these listings belong to the owner, not to Yamaja.
Claudia is an automated assistant (an AI chatbot) that helps answer questions, capture enquiries, and prepare quotes for our sales team. Claudia's replies are provided in good faith but are not a substitute for a confirmed, written quote from our sales team. Messages you send to our WhatsApp number may be reviewed by Yamaja staff to follow up on your enquiry.
Access to parts lookup, pricing, inventory, and internal tools through our portals is granted based on your account role (customer, dealer, technician, sales, or admin) and may be suspended or revoked at our discretion, including for misuse, suspected fraud, or a breach of these terms. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
You agree not to: misuse the Site or Claudia to send spam, abusive, or fraudulent content; attempt to access data or accounts you are not authorised to access; or use automated tools to scrape pricing or inventory data without our written permission.
All content on the Site (text, images, logos, and the Yamaha brand marks used under licence) belongs to Yamaja Engines Ltd. or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as needed for your own personal use in evaluating a purchase.
To the fullest extent permitted by Jamaican law, Yamaja is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on information provided by Claudia. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including in respect of the statutory warranty on Yamaha products.
These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
